Pilotfish MCBW Event
Design + Entrepreneurship
How can creative minds today turn their outstanding design ideas into commercially viable products or services?
Harm Hogenbirk and Marc Nagel, industrial designers and founders of Pilotfish, bring together renowned national and international speakers to share their approach on successfully combining design and entrepreneurship by the means of crowd funding, venture capitalism and hubs of innovation. After the official session, a party in Pilotfish’ new premises on the fifth floor gives the opportunity to network and follow up on the discussion in an informal setting with drinks & music.
Speakers
Munich Creative Business Week
The event takes place in the frame of the first Munich Creative Business Week (www.mcbw.de), devised as the special annual design event drawing the international design community to Munich, one of Germany’s most influential cities for the creative industries. MCBW will present multifaceted, innovative design activities, give momentum to interdisciplinary design discourse and bring together people in the creative and economic sectors from around the world. As such, it will also serve as a platform for fostering international partnerships. Organised by bayern design GmbH and sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Economy and the City of Munich, partners of the event include BMW Group and the iF International Forum Design GmbH.
