Pilotfish designed user-friendly interfaces for acousticians to easily explain the hearing loss to patients, including how to set-up and fine-tune a hearing aid. We also developed apps for end users to be able to select audio programs and seamlessly adjust personal settings. Having worked together for 15 years, Pilotfish consistently and successfully helps Hansaton turn stigmatising prostheses into lifestyle devices.

Pilotfish and Hansaton set out to change how hearing instruments are perceived, shifting from clinical devices to discreet, desirable products. Through design, ergonomics, and UX/UI innovation, the goal was to restore confidence and integrate hearing support seamlessly into daily life.

Over a 15-year collaboration, Pilotfish helped establish Hansaton’s design language across devices and accessories. Solutions like the Earpack introduced new user rituals and influenced the broader market, proving how thoughtful, human-centered design can reshape perceptions and product categories.
From concept to production - we provide product design and development services to help teams bring products to market faster, without compromising quality or compliance.
